because it could not be any longer, faster or more flexible. The SC-Quantum QMC is just the cable that all “bending radius fetishists“ like event technicians, musicians and ambitious live sound people have always been dreaming of! The SC-Quantum QMC is absolutely torsionfree, i.e. it can be wound in a figure of “8“ easily and will not twist when winding or unwinding it.
Not only the S-PVC-jacket, which is cold-resistant down to –30 °C and notch-resistant, feels soft – due to the
superfine 0,07 mm (!) individual copper litz and the PE-insulated wire insulation, even the interior is wonderfully supple and unbreakable. From the 8-pair version upward we have included an extra yellow/green protective earth wire to provide for added stability and safety (PE = protective earth).
The electrical and mechanical data are likewise remarkable: each wire pair is additionally tube-insulated, numbered and shielded by a helical Cu mesh screen with a 99 % coverage.
Go figure this: the SC-Quantum QMC stands out with its low 45 pF wire/wire capacitance and will remain 110 Ω (AES/EBU) conform for several hundred metres!
The wire pair diameter is perfectly suitable for direct
mounting (e.g. of an XLR connector). The interior is
protected against adverse influences by a highly flexible
PVC jacket with a wall thickness of almost 2 mm.
There has never been a cable with such electrical and
mechanical values for such a low price!

Will get things in order. In switching cabinets and racks it often looks like on grandma's knitting pattern. Tidiness is indispensable. The SC-ISOPOD SO-F22D is a 2-wire, foil-shielded cable with a compact outer diameter of 3,30 mm. The cable is primarily used for the internal wiring in audio and hi-fi components. It has a “memory effect“ and can be laid “around the corner“ easily. The Cu wires of the individual wire pairs are already pre-stranded and very easy to strip. For a simpler assembly, the cable has an additional pre-stranded, tin-plated drain wire. It is shielded by an AL/PT foil that will automatically stick on the jacket when stripping it. The SC-ISOPOD SO-F22D has a surge impedance of 110 Ω.

The twin cable...
is similar in design and quality to the TRICONE MKII, but a little thinner due to the twin construction. It is well-suited for manufacturing hifi cables, adapters and for permanent installation. The Tricone® MKII is a flexible cable for guitar or keyboard and equally interesting for the live musician, studio keyboarder and the home recorder. Because of its decent wire gauge of 0,22 mm² and the fine single 0.10 mm wires, it is protected against cable break and convinces with high bending cycles. It is very robust, easy to reel and very reasonably priced. When making cables, care should be taken to remove the conductive shielding (black PVC hose) from the insulation so that it won’t touch the inner conductor.
